We returned to Portland in April to celebrate my birthday.
This time, we had a free room at the Courtyard by Marriott City Center because of Mr. Monkey's previous Marriott stays. I don't know how he does it. We get so many deals.
This was the nicest room I'd ever had at a Courtyard by Marriott.
It didn't hurt that we were on the top floor in a huge corner room.
Yay for free! Even if it weren't free, this was an excellent, economical, and convenient place to stay. Walking distance to a lot of good downtown eating!
