The Grand Canyon

When we came back from Europe in February, US Airways screwed up our flight, so we got a free flight and a bunch of miles to make up for the mistake.

For some reason, Mr. Monkey decided this meant we should go to the Grand Canyon.

    How fun! When I visited Grand Canyon last winter, it was covered in snow. I like how different it looks now. It's so green!

    My mom told me that we visited the GC when my brother and I were kids, but I don't remember any of it. =/ Looks like a fun place!

    because we almost died in a freak thunderstorm while on a rafting trip in the grand canyon, the teen will never allow us to return to that godforsaken place. heh.

      I wouldn't want to go back to a place where I almost died. Hell, I don't want to go back to The Melting Pot, and that only gave me explosive diarrhea.

    Great pictures! I really want to plan a trip to the Grand Canyon one day, especially with all your recs now!

    I just flew US Airways and it was one of the worst experiences I have ever had. :/
