Trio House is decent grub for hungry USC students.
The boba drinks are actually better than decent.
Fried tofu and sweet sauce with crushed peanuts ($5).
Chicken satay marinated in coconut milk and spices, peanut sauce, cucumber relish ($7).
Shrimp wonton and BBQ pork egg noodles ($8).
Tom kah noodles -- chicken, coconut milk, mushrooms, chili paste ($8).
Not terrible for the prices but not exactly a run-there-right-now destination.
But it sure is nice to have a Thai restaurant close to campus. Keeps those stinky USC students over on their own side of town and out of Westwood.
ReplyDeleteI've been to Trio House a few times. Not a bad place. The Thai dishes are much better than the pan-Asian dishes.
ReplyDeleteI'm a USC student but not too stinky I hope!
I'm guessing this didn't taste quite as good as it looks...but I sure wish I had this when I was at USC.
ReplyDeletewait - do i recall correctly? did you get a new camera recently?
