Wan Turns 40: O Dae San

I've been friends with Wan for over five years now. She was one of my first Internet friends and remains one of my best. When Lilcee suggested a surprise party to celebrate Wan's fortieth birthday, we all happily obliged and met at O Dae San (2889 W. Olympic Blvd.,
Los Angeles), where we indulged in all-you-can-eat Korean barbecue for just $16.99.

Love is in the air! To be more exact, Bel Air! We were all the Fresh Prince for one night in this incredible house, where we celebrated the Cruisers' engagement.

Chowing and Choosing at the Chocolate Salon

On Sunday, I was a panelist for the Fifth Annual Los Angeles Luxury Chocolate Salon.

It was big and filled with people. Lots and lots of people.

Mr. Monkey and I tasted to our hearts' content, which, in actuality, wasn't an extraordinary amount because it turns out that it's really difficult to eat a ton of chocolate, even when it's free. File this under blogger sob stories!

It is fun to judge chocolate. Life is good.
