Salt's Cure is a teeny-tiny place on Santa Monica Boulevard in West Hollywood. More likely than not, you'll have to wait for a table. It's worth the wait. The menu changes frequently, but one aspect remains constant -- fresh, quality ingredients prepared with great care.
The chalkboard offerings are few and do not seem particularly impressive upon first glance.
But looks are deceiving. Everything rocks. Especially the pork products. Oh, pork. You make the world a better place.
2 x 2 x 2 ($13).
Two strips of bacon, two chorizo patties, two eggs, too good. Mama Monkey aptly remarked, "This is not like bacon from the supermarket."
Bacon cheeseburger ($15).
Does this bacon cheeseburger make you shed a tear? It should.
Baked eggs, chorizo, and beans ($14).
Saved the best for last. So much happiness simmering in a big hot bowl.
Get thee to Salt's Cure. Pig out on pig.
