This baby hater loves her niece.
She, on the other hand, has more interest in my signature bright orange bracelet.
Best sound bite from last night's dinner with Mr. Monkey's family:
"Auntie Weezer, will you change my diaper?"
"Um. No. Ask your grandpa."
She'd be hard not to love...she's so darn cute!
ReplyDeleteHaha! The fact that she asked you to change her diaper is hysterical. Wish I could've been there.
ReplyDeleteYou're my kind of auntie.
ReplyDeleteperfect sound bite.
ReplyDeleteum yeah, i had a similar soundbyte from today's father's day lunch...
ReplyDelete"dad, even though it's father's day and you're eating lunch, i'm going to need you to change Carolyn's diaper because I just can't do it."
Now we can be friends. Fabulous post.
ReplyDeleteIsn't she 14 or something? Why can't she change her own diaper?
ReplyDeleteBeing an auntie is fun! :)
ReplyDeleteok, those pictures are flippin' cute!!
ReplyDeleteyeah, aunts aren't for poopy diapers.
ReplyDeleteI think it's time for Mr. and Mrs. Monkey to engage in some monkey business and have a little monkey of their own.
ReplyDelete:)
Aunts can say no to diapers.
ReplyDeleteMothers cannot.
So, in response to Cheeks' comment, Monkey says, "Fuck no."
You BOTH look ultra-adorable in those pics. I have a new rule though--if the kid's old enough to ask for a diaper change, the kid's old enough to start using the potty!
ReplyDeleteShe is pretty darn cute!!!
ReplyDeleteLMN is pretty damn cute.
ReplyDeletesuch little hams, both of you ;)
ReplyDeletei already have proof that you're not a TOTAL baby hater :)
ReplyDeleteHa, I've had the exact same conversation with my niece!
