It is apparent to me now what generates the most comments from you sentimental saps out there -- posts about Mr. Monkey! Twenty-five comments for tidbits?! Insanity, people!
To answer CageQueen's question, Mr. Monkey does not read my blog. The only time he looked at it was when I showed him our travel pictures last month. He doesn't seem to be very interested in my musings. I once asked him why he doesn't read. His response?
"I live your blog. I don't need to read it!"
I will have to think of some real Mr. Monkey stories for you in the future.
Right now, I can only tell you about his remarkable capacity for food. After eating a gigantic chicken gyro sandwich and salad for dinner, he had two glazed buttermilk donuts for first dessert. Second dessert was a mint ice cream Drumstick. Third dessert was a Neapolitan ice cream sandwich.
It is now 11:15 p.m. It remains to be seen whether there will be a fourth dessert.
This boy is like a hobbit.
But hairless.
And not really really short.
I am both in awe of and jealous of Mr. Monkey's ability to eat so much food. And a little grossed out. Where does it all go??
ReplyDeleteWOW. That is amazing.
ReplyDeleteI would LOVE to eat like that for just one day. No consequences, no guilt. That's hilarious.
ReplyDelete3 Desserts?!?! He's a man after my own heart!
ReplyDeleteThe male capacity for food is truly amazing. Mr. Monkey must have been very expensive to feed when he was a growing high school Monkey.
ReplyDeleteBrent gave me that exact response when I asked why he doesn't comment more, although he does read it every day.
ReplyDeleteRoy reads my blog.
ReplyDeleteI like hearing about Mr. Monkey. He sounds cute and endearing. :)
I think it's because Mr. Monkey is such a mystery to us all. You know how people are about mysterious men.
ReplyDeleteMr. Monkey is the long lost twin of my hubby.

ReplyDeleteI would eat up his blog. Would love a glimpse into that enourmous mystery of a head of his.
3 desserts is a dream. What genes he has! You done good with that one!
MH is like that, and for some reason he keeps loosing weight. I think I keep finding it.
ReplyDeleteOMG Mr. Monkey and my hubs would surely get along.
ReplyDeleteOnly question is who's the biggest bottomless pit?
He eats like Mr. Monkey and gets upset when he looses weight- I want to slap him sometimes. =)
Ok, I LOVE all of the food + desserts that Mr. Monkey enjoyed last night. I'm only jealous that I do not any of those desserts in my house to say I shared a moment with him.
